Dear friends, the 2018 Major League Soccer season is upon us and the United Soccer League will begin play soon, as well. Please join our chaplains today in prayer and fasting as we ready ourselves for the season that lies ahead. Thanks for your support of our work.

Community News
The community aspect of Soccer Chaplains United includes things like mission trips which are taking soccer gear to make an impact on vulnerable and less fortunate communities. We will also highlight needs within the soccer community that we become aware of.
Timothy Project: Valor Costa Rica 2018 features a return to Tamarindo
Timothy Project: Valor India 2018
We last supported a trip to Kolkata, India when a Valor High School student took a bag or two of soccer gear back in 2014. Read about how that little bag has grown into a larger vision and begun to spread and grow by using soccer to affect the boys living in the slums of Kolkata. Your donations toward this project — through PushPay — will continue to help grow the vehicle for impact in this difficult environment.
Soccer Community Needs
Soccer Chaplains United has become aware of two specific needs that have impacted former a player and a former coach. We present these as opportunities to pray and offer your financial support if you feel compelled through Go Fund Me campaigns. Soccer Chaplains United will be considering developing an Emergency Fund Assistance program for the future. Pray as we deliberate on how to best help those in our community that face difficult life situations such as these.
- Galileo Percovich — family car accident (donations no longer being accepted, story link only)
- Melissa Gatt — wife of former Rapids player, Josh, recently diagnosed with Thymic Carcinoma
