Hi
Thanks for following CrossTraining and supporting us throughout this year. We just wanted to share some pictures and short stories about what we've been blessed to be able to do during the 2015 season and to also share what we will be able to do next year and beyond because of the faithful support of so many of you!

For the first time ever in 2016, CrossTraining will employ Rev. Brad Kenney as its Executive Director. Your monthly contributions help to provide CrossTraining with the income to provide for a compensation package for he and his family. He and his entire family are thankful for the personal support that you give! Click the link to read a personal message from him and his family.

Boxing Day - A Letter from Brad Kenney |

CrossTraining chaplains and counselors traveled some 30,000 miles this year to serve. Whether it was for meetings with colleagues, weekly commutes to the teams served, or a trip to visit alumni who were grieving or needing support, CrossTraining traveled far and wide to serve.

Professional sports chaplaincy |
This year, financial support allowed CrossTraining to expand into it's second market. CrossTraining now has chaplains with the Colorado Rapids (Major League Soccer) and the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC (United Soccer League). The average annual costs of providing a chaplain's expenses ranges from $10-15k depending on the size of the organization and number of chaplains. Thank you! Click the link below to meet the entire
CrossTraining team.

Part of CrossTraining's value of providing holistic care means translating written materials into native languages, helping with cultural adaptation, and providing live translation for different care moments with the teams that CrossTraining serves. Your financial gifts help to cover costs associated with translating materials and supporting people that are not native English-speaking into a welcoming environment. Click the link to see

Professional sports counseling |
For 2015, your financial gifts helped CrossTraining to retain a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) as part of the CrossTraining team and the services offered to the Colorado Rapids and consultant offered to other teams throughout MLS and the USL-Pro. As pro soccer has typically lower wages than other professional sports leagues, the gift of a providing a counselor helps to meet deep emotional and mental needs amongst the
athletes, coaches, staff, and families of the organizations CrossTraining serves. Click the link to read a post from our LPC Cody Baker.

Part of CrossTraining's history and one of our important values is to steward the professional relationships and networks that we serve in order to help other, under-privileged groups. A percentage of CrossTraining's annual budget goes toward new equipment and we help make sure that old shoes, balls, shorts, and shirts go to good use. Your gifts helped CrossTraining resource 9 different project this year. You can explore each
of them by clicking below.

Not only did CrossTraining chaplains serve professional sports teams, but also youth teams. CrossTraining hopes to develop more opportunities for serving in high school and collegiate areas. You can see some of our work with Valor Christian High School by clicking below.
