Critical ministry update from CrossTraining's Founder and Executive Director, Brad Kenney:

Dear Friends, some of you know that CrossTraining is entering into a pivotal time of the season - as a ministry we have just a couple months left in the 2015 calendar year, our board is faced with making some major decisions about moving forward with the ministry of CrossTraining and just what that looks like for the future. We have had some great ministry moments this year, some captured in the headlines below...

Baylor Conference on the Horizon

November 5-7, CrossTraining Founder and Executive Director and Colorado Rapids Lead Chaplain, Brad Kenney will be speaking at the 2015 Baylor Institute for Faith and Learning Conference entitled The Spirit of Sports. Rev. Kenney will speak at a colloquium session at the conference on Saturday morning.

CrossTraining in Colorado Springs

We announced earlier this summer that CrossTraining had placed a chaplain with the new, USL-Pro Switchbacks FC. The Switchbacks finished a strong inaugural season by just narrowly missing out on advancing to the Western Conference Finals.

We're making some final assessments on the fit and function of our chaplain and the developing ministry in the Springs-area, and we hope to make an announcement soon about continuing to serve the Switchbacks organization!

Timothy Project: Liberia 2015

The Liberian Institute for Empowerment (LIFE) is putting a shipping container together for Liberia. CrossTraining's Timothy Project is trying to help fill that container this October with soccer equipment and school supplies...

CrossTraining's Starting 11

This year we introduced our Starting 11 campaign designed to help us develop a solid team of supporters that are helping to partner with the ministry of CrossTraining. We've made a few changes to simplify the Starting 11 and we still need more teammates to help us carry out the ministry!

Timothy Project: Mexico 2015

Recently, a team from Cherry Hills Community Church went down to Juarez (see picture) and a team from Cherry Creek Presbyterian Church is headed out next - their story comes out this Thursday, be sure to see what is happening in Juarez!
