Colorado Rapids Push For Playoffs In Pink

Club looks to make the playoffs for first time in three years

October is the month of baseball derbies, NFL football in full swing, the beginning of NBA basketball and NHL hockey, MLS soccer playoffs and pink everywhere! You have to be anti-sports to not see the neon color invading nearly every professional male uniform in sports with a pink twinge or highlight somewhere. The Colorado Rapids have their own story to share about the battle against breast cancer and all of this as they look to make the final push of the season to make it into the playoffs - they inched closer to solidifying their spot in the postseason this past weekend.

Prayers Requested for Babies

It's not often that CrossTraining asks for prayer for babies, but that is exactly what we would ask you to consider in the next few weeks as a Colorado Rapids player and his wife have experienced some physical difficulties with their newborn daughter and one of the Rapids coaches was there for the delivery of his first child, a baby girl named Bailey. Read more on their stories in the Colorado Prayer section of CrossTraining.

Timothy Project Player Dalby Gives A Picture

As part of the recent ministry trip to Jamaica, Greg Dalby - CrossTraining's 2010 Timothy Project Recipient  - returned a few weeks ago with a wonderful report of how God used the team to train, coach, and mentor Jamaican soccer coaches and children. You can re-read Part I of his story and trip or Part II. Recently, Greg provided a few pictures from his trip which are now in CrossTraining: Colorado Photos or you can view the entire slideshow of the Eagles trip on the CrossTraining website.
