We are working to complete a devotional book for the 2023 Women's World Cup! Watch for a special email announcement around June 20th as we push to publish a month before the World Cup kicks off!
We are also going to be working on a redesign of our current website!
Pray for us with these two massive projects at hand!
Chaplaincy
We've recently completed a few interviews and I am pleased to share that we will be adding a couple more chaplains to the team here in the next few weeks. Please check out our website
in advance of next month's newsletter!
Support
A couple of updates for support:
Monthly funding (General) has seen a few gains. We are still about $1000/mo short of where we need to be. Please consider becoming a monthly supporter or increasing your
gift slightly to help us cover the gap! The general fund covers my (Brad) salary and the organizational budget.
Carlos 'Cali' Alejandro is raising money for expenditures of the soccer chaplaincy ministry. To support his work with the San Jose Earthquakes, please select San Jose from the selectable funds through PushPay.
Don't forget our other chaplains and staff who raise money through us for their work and ministry in soccer with these teams:
Greg Aydt in
Memphis
Jubal McDaniel in Tacoma
Troy Ready in Portland 2
Wayne Pirmann our Development/Crucial Needs Officer
Pappie Jones and Soccer Ambassadors are working to reach out to youth in an impoverished slum in Monrovia, the Slipway community. Unique to this request is that there is a needs to help get the gear to a shipping company. Please read the story and think about how you can
help.
Summer is upon us and we've been fortunate to have some special guests on the podcast this past month. Hopefully you haven't missed an episode, plus listening to these guys play Crosses with Rev is always
entertaining!
